Welcome to Saint Carlo Acutis Year 3!

Hello and welcome to the new Year 3 class page! We are thrilled to introduce ourselves as the Saint Carlo Acutis Year 3 Class.

Class Teacher: Mrs Robinsworth

Teaching Assistants: Miss Hughes & Mrs Austin

We chose this newly canonised saint as our inspiration because he taught us that we are all unique and special—a message he famously summarised by saying we must be "not photocopies, but originals!" This idea drives everything we do: we celebrate the unique talents and personalities of every child in our class.

This year, our learning journey will be built around three core values:

• Independence: We are focusing on equipping children with the skills to think for themselves, take responsibility for their work, and embrace challenges with confidence.

• Respect and Dignity: We are committed to fostering a kind, inclusive, and highly respectful classroom environment as we focus on our first value for this academic year and will continue to build on these.

• Growing in Kindness: We will continually practice empathy and compassion, making our classroom a place where everyone feels safe and supported.

We are also looking forward to a significant faith journey this year as we participate in the Sacramental Programme alongside Father Joseph, our church, and the local trust schools within the parish. This collaboration will provide a rich and meaningful experience for our pupils.
