Welcome to Year 2!

We are the ‘Bright Stars’. Stars light up the night sky and their brightness is determined by how much power they have. 

Miss Round (SENCo) is the class teacher. The wonderful Mrs Barlow is our teaching assistant. In Year Two we are big believers that ‘education is the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the world’ (Martin Luther King). Our classroom is an environment where everything is a learning process, mistakes are made and celebrated and challenges are welcomed.

The stars are the limit!  In Year Two we learn lots about different topics from schools in the past, animals and habitats to 'The Day the Crayons Quit'!

We have read in the Autumn Term the book 'The BFG' - one of Miss Round's favourite childhood books.

In the Spring Term we are reading Matilda.
