We will endeavour to keep the school open in the event of snow etc. However, problems do sometimes arise, such as burst pipes or heating problems, and when this is deemed to be a Health and Safety issue – our children come first.
In the event of such problems, or when we envisage weather conditions worsening and making access by road or foot a safety issue, we will send out text messages to parents. It is therefore vital that we have up-to-date mobile phone numbers, home telephone and work telephones numbers for this to be effective. We would also advise listening to Radio Lancashire for school closure news.
