As a school we follow the Lancashire Scheme of Work and have recently purchased the Primary PE Passport to aid the Sports Coach and teachers when delivering, assessing and planning lessons. Attached below is the progression of skills provided by Lancashire PE Scheme of Work.

School Swimming Data 2021/2022

What percentage of your current Year 6 cohort swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres? 76%

What percentage of your current Year 6 cohort perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations? 92%

Schools can choose to use the Primary PE and Sport Premium to provide additional provision for swimming but this must be for activity over and above the national curriculum requirements. Have you used it in this way? Yes, through Pools to Schools.

Tots on Tyres

EYFS took part in Tots on Tyres wc 7th November 2022 and it looked like they were enjoying themselves on the balance bikes. Well done!
