Burnley Community Sport Awards – School of the Year 2015

We have made it to Platinum!

As a school we are very proud to announce we have achieved Platinum School Games status. Only a select amount of schools are able to achieve this status, but after achieving Gold for the last 5 years we were able to create a case study to reach Platinum status and we were successful. Thank you to all the staff, children and parents for your continued support.

Virtual Mile

The Burnley School Partnership and Burnley Leisure have teamed up to create a fantastic resource for this summer! They are encouraging children both in and out of school to run, walk or job one mile and see how fast they can go. Every time you complete a mile you will submit your score into this link – Submit Your Score

This is being run as a competition between all primary schools in Burnley, with the school who has the most entries winning! This is a fantastic resource to get both children and parents exercising and if you’re struggling for a route there are suggested routes on this resource pack. See if you can complete all of them!

Remember to take lots of photos and email them to Mr. Johnson or tweet them to @SMMRCBurnley or @BurnleySSP.

Good luck to everyone taking part – let’s see how many miles we can do as a school!!

Lancashire School Games Sports Day 2020

Children both in and out of school took part in the Lancashire Schools Games. We are so proud of every child who took part! The Day started with our Year 4 class performing the dance in their classroom before every bubble attempted 14 different activities, with the intention to beat their personal best score.
