Hello all, for this weeks homework I would like the children to complete 2 of the fine motor skill activity cards and the handwriting practise sheets. Fine motor skills are vital for children- its all about the muscles in their hands. As the children are getting back into the swing of holding a pencil in school it is important that they build those muscles in their hand which will help them with; holding a pencil, using scissors, fastening buttons, zipping their coats, using a knife and fork etc. I also want the children to practise their handwriting. Use the sheets provided to exemplify the style of writing that we use in school (the children have already practised this in reception).
