Year 2 Homework Friday 6th November

Dear Parents

We hope you have had a good half term holiday.  Below is the homework for this week.  The children have completed some activities  on the topic of ‘Voting’  for UK Parliament week and we have a live session planned with Antony Higginbotham on Friday where the children will be able to ask him questions about his work.

As it is almost Remembrance we would like the children to complete a Reading Comprehension to learn a little more about this important event.   There are three levels of difficulty * being the easiest and *** being the hardest.  Children only need to do one but need to try and challenge thmselves.  We would also like the children to create their own Flanders Field poppy artwork.  Some examples below.

The children have been learning about Multiplication this week using practical resources, arrays and number lines

Spellings have been uploaded separately for the whole half term.

Best wishes
